Eileen Marder-Mirman, MS, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Spiritual Healer, and Author

Eileen Marder-Mirman

Helping people to be free is my passion.

Since I can remember, I’ve been on a spiritual path.

As a very young girl, I would wake up in the wee hours of the morning and gaze into the sky. Going to the Synagogue with my father and watching the people praying and singing the songs touched my little soul. After I learned mathematics, at night I would ponder infinity until I exhausted myself and fell asleep.

It was my fortune to have always been aware of forces way beyond my limited understanding; I knew that I was part of a larger Reality. I always felt guided and called to awaken and heal!

In my heart of hearts, I knew there was so much more to life than growing up in a New York City suburb to my well intentioned second generation Jewish, professional and creative parents.

On the surface, my personal life appeared to be wrapped in a nice package, but internally there was a great deal of turmoil, which led to my questing.

Moving away from my childhood home for college and graduate school changed my life. Meditation, drugs, sex, rock & roll and a really great group of friends, all brought me closer to discovering my True Self and life purpose.

On May 3, 1984, my husband, Jamie and I were blessed with giving birth to our son, Josh.  My whole world and life changed that day in ways that I never even dreamed of.  Mothering awakened me to the blessing and preciousness of life and love in a new way.

Even though my journey has not been a simple one, I’ve learned many lessons along the way. As I travelled through the everyday chaos of being a working and married mom, I heard a voice inside that kept whispering, “there’s more.”

As I followed that “calling” and committed to a healing journey, I started feeling happier, more whole, at peace, and more and more fulfilled.
